SS3 Cross section Annotation; Leader Lines

There is not a different method to create custom leader lines, so it sounds like you are on the right track. However, it is interesting that the use of a cell has impacted your processing times. Would you be willing to provide your data so that we can take a look at the problem you are seeing?

I downloaded the files. Can you please give me a detailed workaround to reproduce your problem? There are 17 DGN files, and I'm not sure where to start. Also, please tell me the 9-digit version number of the GEOPAK product you are using.

My apologies on lack of description. I have been cutting cross sections from the "ka100804 Project Alignment 4-Lane (South of Buffalo Dunes)" dgn file. All needed files are referenced into that file and I have been cutting the cross sections along the PRCL83 alignment.

Background: I recently upgraded to a new machine and in the process I forgot to move over my cell libraries to the new workspace. Before realizing this, I cut cross sections and noticed a substantial decrease in the amount of time it took. I originally thought this was because of the upgraded machine. I then noticed that my leader line cells were not present in the cross sections. I moved my cell libraries into the new workspace and re-cut the cross sections. This time, the process was much slower and took much longer to finish now that the model was able to place the leader cells.

I have cut cross sections both with and without your additional cell libraries in my workspace folder. It was approximately 2.5 minutes with them present and 2 minutes without. This seems reasonable to me. Are you seeing that your processing times are much greater than this?

How many cross sections did you cut so I can use that time as a reference to what I am getting?

50 ft interval for the length of the alignment.

The alignment that is nearly 13 miles? I am seeing a much longer process time. Around 30 minutes longer.
