I am a bit of a novice to in-roads (am using PowerCivil SS3) and have yet to find out how to achieve this...
I have a horizontal alignment (control line for path) that I have draped to a surface, but I want to modify the vertical alignment to be a 'best fit' for certain parameters like max/min slope, within a specified envelope.
What is the best way to do this? I need to smooth out the profile, as well as reduce the elevation in certain areas where we will be cutting into a batter. I can't seem to find any reference material for this and there are no resident experts in the new office!
