I'm working on a large string of cross-sections and I am putting geology lines close to the surface (within a foot or less). My original set with the first alignment was fine. We have since done minor realignment which changed the with changed the stationing a little bit. The consultant created a dtm & tin from my original geology and reimported it into the new sections. The terrain is very hilly with some relatively steep-sided valleys, so even a 10' change in stationing makes a difference to how the geology falls on the sections. I have since fixed and added geology where necessary, but with the upper geology layer so close to the surface, I can't be certain that the surface and the upper geology layer don't cross at some point. I keep finding spots where the lines cross, and they barely cross, something difficult to see unless one is meticulous about it - which on 16 miles of cross sections can be extremely time consuming and tedious.
Is there a way to check for these conflicts with a limited amount of effort? I don't have any experience in vba - or coding in general.
Let's go, Royals.
