Hi,
I would like ask for help with understanding transition functionality available under End Condition Exceptions. I have two end conditions that differ significantly: embankment and embankment with benching. I’m trying to introduce a transition over the length of 30m whereas my template drop is set to 10m. The screenshot below shows the end conditions I’m playing with. I thought that in such scenario, the software will adjust end conditions in the two intermediate template drops (at chainage 24280 and 23290) but it’s not happening. How such transition can be achieved? Thank you,Krzysztof

Thanks Chris. Below are cross sections at ch 24270, 24280, 24290. Please read these accordingly with my first post. It look like intermediate template drops are not adjusted. Any idea why? Thanks, Krzysztof
Thanks. The thing is I'm not using benching option in end condition. See the screenshot.
I set this up in 08.11.09.845 InRoads and I am not seeing the issue. I set up an End Condition Exception for a left side transition and it is interpolating the points as you have them mapped. I set it up to transition over 30' with a 10' interval. in the attached screenshots you can see the end condition bench gradually transition to a solid end condition. The features in the plan view also look good.

Thanks Chris. I'm running MX .845. I will submit Service Request. Thank you.BTW. It would be nice if we can use microstation tool - insert vertex - to fix such locations... Thanks.
