I am working on creating a set of cross sections, but I cannot save the preferences that I am entering. When I open the Preferences window from the Create Cross Sections window, the Save. Save As..., and Delete are grayed out, and clicking on Load does not do anything. This is also true for the preferences for Annotate Cross Sections and End Area Volume preferences.
I am new with using Geopak so its very possible that this is user error and I am not doing something correctly, but I feel that this is fairly straight forward. Can anyone provide some insight on this issue?
what version of geopak are you using? can you try with the examples workspace

I am having a similar problem.
I recently received a new computer at work and now I don't have any previously saved preferences to load and the save, save as, and delete buttons are greyed out for both create cross sections and annotate cross sections.
I have checked my configuration variable and it is pointing to the correct .xin file on my company's network and the .xin is NOT protected.
Other people in my office can load/save the preferences so I'm assuming it has something to do with my particular machine.
Any additional suggestions as to what may be causing this?
Yes, make sure you have loaded the .net. Windows 10 removed it from installing and you need the .net framework. There is another thread that gives the links.
