I'm trying to figure out how to get the text in the Horizontal Tracking in Inroads to rotate to my current view. I know the text uses the active text properties but I tried changing the angle with method set to by origin and it doesn't change the rotation of the text.
Unfortunately the Horizontal Tracking text will always orient itself with true north. So when you rotate the view it will rotate with it and there is no way to change it. You can change this in the Tracking - Tracking though. In the tracking dialog click on settings. In the next dialog scroll to the right and click in the Text row in the very last column.
Then check the View Independent option shown below.
This will make the Tracking - tracking ignore the rotation but it may not have all of the information you are looking for when tracking.
