OpenRoads enhancement: read-only access to profile model of alignments in referenced files

Using Geopak SS3 and SS4, currently the only way to access the profile for an alignment is to view the profile from within the file where the alignment resides. The user can project the profile onto an alignment in the working file, but if you want to view it unprojected you have to make a copy of that alignment (by direct copy, or by making an offset copy at 0' off) and then project the profile onto the working file's copy of the alignment.

There are several reasons why a user might want to view a profile from an attached alignment. It isn't enough to have the user view the profile from a 3D element, as this would allow the user to view only the active profile. Otherwise, if the user is forward-thinking enough, he might create a 3D element from non-active profile elements, but that adds workload and advice.

To summarize: If creating a corridor can be done with read-only access to a profile, I would expect more user-direct read-only access to a profile on a read-only alignment.
