Hi
Im trying to import a LANDXML file as a terrain model. I go file import --> terrain model LandXML and it imports perfectly with triangles and contours that i can edit. I can also draw a profile over the terrain and all works as normal.
However the terrain model doesn't appear in the project Explorer menu under Civil Model and subsequently cannot be made active when attached to other drawings.
Is this normal or should i try re import the terrain from the triangles after copying them manually into the drawing file?

When you are importing the Terrain Model make sure you go through the Tasks > Civil Tools > Terrain Model > Create From File command to import the Land XML to a civil terrain model. You can go through this command and select the LandXML as a file type and import the XML to create the Terrain.
There is another option in MicroStation to create a Terrain Model through Tools > Terrain Model > Import LandXML Terrain Model but this is not going to create a civil terrain model which will show in the Project Explorer Civil Model.
