POWERCIVIL GEOPAK SS2 : DRAINAGE PROFILE

Question

We are running drainage profiles and need in the profile to display the manhole width. The manhole type we are using is other and is a circular manhole. 
 I am aware that it can be done as I have seen it on the training videos. 
 At present we just get a vertical line of the manhole!

Hi Martin: 
 You need two things to get this to work. 
 
 In Drainage preferences, set the link option as shown in first image. 
 Make sure your cells used for the nodes are configured so that links connect at the vault edge instead of at centroid. The second image is an example from one of my projects. The dashed circle is the connection ring.

The drainage profile is created on the fly by the program the profile will start at the upstream node at its hydraulic center and go from there straight to the pipe connection point then down the pipe to the end or downstream pipe connection point then to the hydraulic center of that node and then onto the next pipe connection point. It continues in that manner to the end of the profile. The width of the node is a determined by where the pipes conncect to the structure and the hydraulic center. So if your pipes connect to each other then there will likely be no width or a single line representing the node.
