When I go to Settings- Project Explorer I only have two options for browsers (file and links). I don't understand why the survey tab option is not showing up.
The program was recently installed and I am a new user that may be missing something simple. I did spend a lot of time reading past posts with no luck resolving my issue.
I am using MicroStation V8i (SELECT Series 4) with Bentey GEOPAK Survey. Version 08.11.09.289
Thank you,
Kevin
Mark,
I have been activating GEOPAK as soon as I open the program. I included a screen shot to show the extent of my GEOPAK options and the existing tabs on explorer. In the tutorials and videos I have been using for training I noticed most people have more application options available. Could my version of GEOPAK be too limited to have some features such as the additional tabs?
Purva, I am just looking to add the survey tab like you have shown.
Thank you for the replies.

I know this is confusing. The drop down is for initiating a "legacy" version of Geopak Survey. The Project Explorer tab is only relevant to OpenRoads survey workflow. These are two very different applications. Legacy Geopak Survey operates using an external database (GPK) as a container for points and chains. OpenRoads is an internal dataset inside the dgn (model specific) file you are actively working in. Clear as mud...right? Good luck on the new software.
Yes the word Geopak is more of loose term. I only use the term "Geopak" when I'm not working in OpenRoads. Similar to the AutoCad vs Civil 3D nomenclature. Both are Autodesk products but not the same technology or workflow.
On a different vain....The help files for OpenRoads are not obvious. I have attached a short video showing how to access the help tools. It's a zip file.
