So I am trying to do a civil cell that depends on two OpenRoads lines that intersect with arbitrary termini in a 4-leg fashion.
For the civil cell, I have lines that are constructed as offsets from the alignments. I'm constraining these offsets to begin at the intersection (using intersection snap) and run, say, 400 feet down each leg. Everything seems to behave quite well. I create the civil cell.
I go into another file, where there are real intersections. I place the civil cell. It looks like it's working, but when I switch the direction of one alignment or another, especially multiple times for each alignment, the elements in the civil cell start breaking and it won't work even if I change the direction on each alignment back to the original.
Is there something I should be looking for to solve this? Are there any key details I might have missed? Because I feel like I'm doing everything correctly, but the cell isn't behaving.
