I just downloaded Inroads V8i and was reading through the what's changed section and came accross two things that I had no idea what they were talking about.
3GB option? What is this? Help doesn't even mention.
civil accudraw open from the MS tools toolbox menu? It's not there! With a custom workspace maybe it's not loading. Where is this file?

Hi Marc,
As I understand it, the 3GB switch allows windows to allocate more than memory to an application (i.e. InRoads). XP limits the amount of memory to 2GB unless this switch is added. Here is an article that might explain better...

Civil Accudraw can be started by selecting Tools>Civil AccuDraw in the MicroStation menu. Civil AccuDraw and MicroStation AccuDraw can not be run at the same time.
Thanks, Kevin
Thanks for clarifying the 3gb.
I don't have the option for civil accudraw though. We are running a custom workspace and we must have to put in a new configuration variable for it to show up. Any ideas what they changed here? I wish they would include a list of variable changes for the cadd managers when they release new products.
