I just downloaded Inroads V8i and was reading through the what's changed section and came accross two things that I had no idea what they were talking about.
3GB option? What is this? Help doesn't even mention.
civil accudraw open from the MS tools toolbox menu? It's not there! With a custom workspace maybe it's not loading. Where is this file?

Civil Accudraw (as well as Roundabouts and Civil GPS) are controlled by additional CFG files. Kevin noted one of these. There are five in all.
You must have files 1 and 2 or none of the civil tools will appear.
Then files 3, 4 and 5 are optional depending on whether you want any of the three tools (Accudraw, Roundabouts, GPS)
See also the Civil Enhancements community for some information on each tool. http://communities.bentley.com/Communities/Other_Communities/Civil_Enhancements_V8i/default.aspx

What do I do to get these cfg to load?
my files are in C:\Program Files\Bentley\InRoads Group V8.11\ConfigFiles\CivilPlatform
I think
thanks

Karl,
The quote from Robert is accurate. In XM it was a separate install. In V8i the civil enhancements (roundabouts and Civil GPS and Civil AccuDraw) are automatically installed. The cfg files that 'activate' these enhancements should be in the follwing location:
C:\Program Files\Bentley\MicroStation V8i\MicroStation\config\appl

For the Civil GPS: The tools are integrated into the Tools>Geographic>Global Positioning System. There are an additional 3 tabs to this toolset that are Civil specific.
My issue had to do with the definition of the MS_GUIDGNLIBLIST variable. It turns out that MS_GUIDGNLIBLIST needed to be defined as " __CIVIL__ " for the "Civil" option to appear under the Tasks menu. The Roundabouts Toolbox is accessed from this Civil option.
My company's custom workspace had MS_GUIDGNLIBLIST defined as something else. Once I added this variable to a configuration file in our workspace, the Roundabout Toolbox showed up.
A Thank You to Chris Key at Bentley for the help!
