Hi.
I am working on PowerCivil SS4, with limited to fair previous SS2 InRoads experience. I am hitting a wall when it comes to symbologies and plan production. I have spent some time working through the various Wiki's and videos available and have carried out the following workflow:
The results have been that I can now see the "Test.dgnlib" from any PowerCivil dgn that I open and access the feature definitions, however, none of the symbology comes through, it only appears as a white line, unless I reload the original .xin file into the InRoads window of the .dgn that I am working in. I understand that linking to a .xin file from a normal dgn only creates the link so that you can see the features in the xin file, and doesn't store the symbologies in the dgn. However, I thought that linking to a .xin file from your dgnlib was the answer to that "storage" problem, otherwise what is the point of creating a dgnlib?
Am I misunderstanding the concept of the dgnlib or is there something missing from my workflow?
Thanks
Matthew
