Can anyone recommend a wireless mouse with additional buttons that doesn't have issueS with some display boxes and menus in Inroads SS4.
I've got at the moment a Logitech Performance MX with the latest drivers. Ive read a few help notes on the forum in regards to the Microsoft mice and driver versions etc. So is there any suggestions on what other people use?
Thanks
moving the cursor up and down over the options will white out the text. This will mainly happen the Template tools. There are other minor display issues for example
Here the fly out boxes are layering on top of each other.
Ive been told by Australian Tech support that a few of the errors like above are caused by a wireless mouse
I see the same visual response as your first screenshot, which I'm re-including for emphasis. I'd also assumed that it was graphics related, since I also get issues running any given MS Office product. Sometimes I minimize the window and restore it, or I drag it off the screen and back.
FWIW, I also use a Logitech wireless mouse. In my case, my Zone Touch Mouse T400 uses the Unifying Receiver, not Bluetooth, and I am using SetPoint Settings on Windows 7. I don't know if any of this information will be helpful in diagnosing the issue.
I can't say whether I get the same as your second screenshot. If I have seen this behavior, I never chalked it up to the mouse.
The wiki below is one possible solution:

The provided solution is to add this to your startup workspace:
QV_D3DVERSION = 9
I added it to my ucf file and closed and reopened Geopak. I got the same problem when looking at my point properties within the Create Template window:
I just confirmed that the video and mouse drivers I'm on are the latest.
Hi,I did this change a while ago and ready did nothing except slow down the screen graphics a bit (I think) Ive attached a screen shot showing what Direct X the software is using.
Kennedy,
As previous stated there are other users in the office that dont have this issue and all machines are spec'd the same, BUT they dont use wireless mice I do. My machine has the graphics display issue.
