Cutting Cross Sections in SS4

Question

Is there a way when cutting cross sections in SS4 to cut to a model that you have already cut cross sections into instead of creating a new model?

Sorry but you can not cut sections into an existing model.

There is already an enhancement request in the pipeline for this. No ETA at present on when it will be added to the product.
