Has anyone been able to get the new Print Organizer (in V8i) to work with GEOPAK V8i installed? I have not been able to, and I am working with Bentley Support to narrow down the cause. They have filed TR #260626 for this issue, but have not yet resolved it.
I also tried using the old Batch Plot ("mdl load batchplt"), but this also does not work in V8i with GEOPAK V8i installed. I am able to use Print Organizer after uninstalling GEOPAK V8i, but that, obviously, is not acceptable.
Thank you,

Oddly enought I also tried this today and had it lockup everytime with a run time error. I had to go back to v8.
Josh,
Could I get more information from you on this issue. I tried to duplicate the problem but was unable to. I have the same versions of MicroStation/GEOPAK loaded. I was able to create a print set in organizer, I set it to use a fence defined from a shape on a specific level. I was able to both preview the prints and print them. I then added more sheets. I reviewed the TR but it doesn't mention GEOPAK, it states that there is a problem adding to the print set. My guess is that there is a certain combination that causes the failure but I'm not sure what. Do you have ProjectWise installed or additional applications that I need to add to the mix? Any additional information you have would be helpful. Thanks.

Esther,
I have been working with Andrew Edge from Bentley on this matter. He has filed TR 262597 to track this problem, and has posted a fix for the next SELECT update.
To answer your question, I am not running anything other than MS and GEOPAK V8i. I have no other related programs installed other than older versions of MS (XM, V8 2004, V7). All are installed to unique folders, of course.
To clarify, TR 262597 covers a Batch Print problem (BP running in an environment it was not designed for, one containing default print styles). That TR does not touch upon the GEOPAK issue at all.
The GEOPAK developers are aware of the compatibility issue with Print Organizer (involving the non-graphics background MicroStation process that Print Organizer relies on) and are working on a solution.
