How to work in ProjectWise with the *.ITL file from Corridor Modeler?

http://communities.bentley.com/products/road___site_design/f/5922/t/112295

Any chance someone from Bentley want to answer this question?   It's only been almost a year?  See original post.

Still an issue.

  • I recently noticed this same issue and luckily no one modified my .itl and overwrote my work.  It hadn't been updated for weeks and I would of lost days on my project.  We’re currently upgrading to OpenRoads and using these versions.  MicroStation SS4 08.11.09.832, OpenRoads 08.11.09.872, and Projectwise 08.11.11.590.  We didn’t have this issue with Projectwise and SS2 Geopak so I’m assuming it may be an OpenRoads problem.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • We run in to this all the time. Actually, we abandoned the CIVIL_ITL_File variable altogether for this very reason. I would suggest you simply open the ITL file each time you need to work with corridors. By browsing to and opening the ITL each time PW will manage it correctly. It is a horrible workflow and something that should have been fixed by Bentley LONG ago, but, it has not been changed to date in any way from initial releases.
