[OR] What is the Open Road Equivalent of the Horizontal Element tools?

To change the start element for civil geometry, you should drop the feature using the MicroStation Drop Element tool. You would then use the OpenRoads Complex By Elements tool to recomplex the feature. You would simply pick your new starting element first. This would be identical to the workflow to reverse the direction.

To break the feature, you would just use the MicroStation Break Element tool.

What happens to the GUID's that are accessed within corridors if a civil geometry element is dropped and re-complexed?

What Jacquelyn mentions is not an equivalent workflow. Dropping or breaking a complex element produces a new element with a new GUID.

There are no equivalent tools in SS4 to the H&V elements tools. I wish there were as it would lead to our adoption of SS4 for centerline geometry development. As it currently strands we have to use the ALG file for CL management and then import in to SS4 for modeling.

I'm with you on this. The Geometry tools in the native product have many advantages over the Civil Geometry tools. It would be interesting to see a comparison listing the pros and cons of each. There are other areas of Open Roads that are still far behind what was in InRoads, IMHO.
