Thanks, I will give this a try and see what I think. This project is small so at this point if have just entered them all as custom but your idea might be the ticket for a bigger project. Thanks again.

I have found that if you start with non custom, you can get the station range and cardinal point cross sections created a planimetric linestrings using the create cross section tool. I believe you can have it draw only those and not actually cut cross sections. Then you can import them from graphics as a custom set, along with any driveway locations. which can even be only to one side or the other - as long as the linestring crosses the centerline.

This is what I have found to do but then I do not get horizontal points such as pc and pts. Does this mean I have to enter every single section I want in this custom list? Seems like some how the horizontal and vertical points should be automated somehow. Is this true that individual adding is needed for these?

When using the custom settings, you have to also add the Station Range into the List using the Type: menu set to Station Range in addition to the ones you add for the driveways.
