Exporting selected strings to CAD drawing

I am new to MX Road and trying export some data to CAD drawing using MXROAD v8i (Select Series 3).

I have got many strings in a Level. Below is an example Description of a string under element information. The value for third (underlined) parameter goes like AA01, AA02, ... and AB01, AB02,... AC01, AC02 .... and so on. 

MX: RoadOption1, GREY, AA02 {SubReference:,Geometry:2,Reactive})\Line String

I would like to export these strings to a CAD drawing  (.dwg) with separate layers or at least separate drawing for each string code (third parameter above) prefix (i.e all AAs into one layer and all AB in another layer etc). I couldn't  see any filtering option while exporting to CAD drawing (File > Export > AutoCAD Drawing)

    Hello Dennis,

    Thank you for posting your question in Bentley Communities.

    I would suggest you first create one model and copy those strings which you want to export to AutoCAD with different layers in new created model. You can edit string name in Level Manager, Cad Menu> Tools > Levels> Level Manager. You can enter the name which you required for AutoCAD and then after proceed for export to AutoCAD.
