Point Control to Feature Definition allows "No feature Definition"

Does anyone know why there would be an option for "No feature definition" when assigning point controls to feature definitions? Seems like this option is should be removed.

I'm running InRoads version 08.11.09.789:
I've tested it and it doesn't work properly - we can set ,,No feature definition", but it catches all lines (???). And, when I've changed in Corridor Objects feature definition to e.g. ,,kerb", it wasn't possible to get back to ,,No feature definition".
