Hello,
In InRoads SS2, when it comes to edit horizontal, I used Edit element (Geometry > Horizontal Element > Edit Element) & check integrity commands a lot to edit them & ensure verifying quality check.
In OpenRoads, I know one way that I can edit civil alignment using context sensitivity dialog box on fly graphically & use Civil message center to check design standard, but is there still similar command in OpenRoads for edit horizontal & check integrity commands other than same native tool builted in OpenRoads.
I don't mind to use native tool for now using edit horizontal & check integrity, then turn it over to Civil alignment using complex chain in OpenRoads, but just want to check to see if there is another new tool in OpenRoads that replacement of edit horizontal & check integrity. This is a minor thing. I can leave with what I have so far =)
Thank you.
Note:
In SS2, traverse command (Geometry > Traverse) is another native tool that I'm looking for in OpenRoads as new tool. I can stick to native tool for this one as well. My goal is to maximize use of New OpenRoads tool if I can.

I've prepared small sketch for you, it shows how to check integrity:
Nice Sketch Jan,
I like it. Thanks =) Now I know it's part of report side. In SS2, I right click geometry alignment then select check integrity. Maybe I should clear my mind on SS2 ^* Thanks Buddy~

I agree. I should stick to same basic geometry tools in SS4 to create horizontal alignment rather than finding similar tools that I used in SS2 like Traverse. It's easier to modify alignment dynamically in SS4 anyway. Good to go~ Thank you.
I'm attempting to follow the example in the Bentley Document "InRoads ROW Fundamentals" (available from the LEARN module) in Chapter 6 Importing Geometry From Graphics. I'm also using this in my first project with several alignments. The problem arises at the point of review the alignment and make corrections.
After reviewing the report and noticing the message "transpose?" you do the following:
"Select Geometry > Horizontal Element > Check Integrity"
And then,
"Select the first linear segment which starts..."
As an aside you should be doing this with InRoads (we use PowerSurvey) Explorer. This is NOT readily apparent in the instructions. Consequently, as an example, "File > Open" might be the MicroStation Main toolbar, OR, it might mean the InRoads Explorer toolbar. Or you can also right-click over the alignment.
In the example above (very nice - and helpful! - by the way, James!) where the selections "Horizontal Element" and "Vertical Element", I don't see on my popup (or pulldown), and the words "Check Integrity" are greyed out. After some searching I found a solution here:
Why is the "Check Integrity" command unavailable? - OpenRoads | OpenSite Blog - OpenRoads | OpenSite - Bentley Communities.
However, even after doing that, I still don't see the selections and "Check Integrity" is still greyed out.
So I guess my I-(sort of)-have-the-same-issue is why can I not see the two selections (even after loading them), why is Check Integrity greyed out, and how do I fix that?
Thanks!
