GeoPAK SS4 & InRoads SS4 Interoperability?

Hello, 
 I currently have GeoPAK SS4 ( 08.11.09.878) installed and I am using OpenRoads technology. However, I am now assigned to a project that has been developed using InRoads SS4 OpenRoads technology. Are there any interoperability issues or concerns if I edit, update the model produced by InRoads using GeoPAK OpenRoads? Simply put, is the OpenRoads technology between the two platforms identical? Is this workflow okay or should it be avoided? Thanks in advance.

The OpenRoads Technology is the same in both products. The difference would be in information that is sent back to native. For example if you have a Feature Definition that persists back to the native geometry database then that feature would have been put into the ALG and now you would be putting it in the GPK. So most of the issues will be in how the data is sent back to the native Civil package, InRoads or GEOPAK.
