I am trying to attach a DWG to my DGN but after I reference in the DWG nothing happens. I am using Microstation V8i(select series3). So my DWG has been set to unit less and then I go to file=> Import=> CAD File => select my desired DWG and nothing no error or something. My DGN is a blank seed file for my company that has a coordinate system attached to it. can anyone please help. Thank you
You might have to save the dwg down to ACAD version 2007 or 2010 first before referencing. If the dwg is saved in a more recent dwg format (2013), it usually bails and reports an error at the bottom of the window. see below.
