Custom Report --1. Station 2 .Offset 3. Diffrence between 2 surfces(Designed-Build)

Hi Mishu,

In testing, I believe the steps below will provide the results desired.
• Apply the Generate Isopach Surface command (this will provide the difference between two surfaced).
• Import graphics as Cogo. Add graphics to a selection set and import.
• Apply the Clearance Report. Clearance.xsl provides Station, Offset and Elevation (Difference in Surface).
If needed, the Clearance Report can be exported to Excel and edited to include Station, Offset and Difference in Surface as desired.

Thanks a lot , Actually , we need to compare some check survey points with the designed surface of the pavement to create a quality report. do you have any sugestion? 2. The 2nd issue we need to know the intersection 2 D (Top View) of surfaces(exterior feature of common boundaries).

Mishu, if you have Cogo Points from the Survey collection you can use the InRoads > Tools > XML Reports > Surface Check report to compare the survey shots against any DTM that you have opened. Just define the Surface at the top of that dialog box and then define the "Check Points" from your survey collection. You can define a Tolerance at the bottom so the resulting report will flag whether or not the shots are IN or OUT of tolerance. If you want to check against multiple tolerances you can define a batch of "Second Check Points" and establish a different Tolerance underneath those shots. If you are only checking against one Tolerance then you only need to add your points in the "First Check Points" area. When you Apply that command go to the Style Sheet called "GDOTSurfaceCheck" under the Custom folder.

I didn't quite understand your 2nd issue.

1. Is it possible a check report with Station-Offset-Diference? 2. the exterior feature of 2 common surfaces. That means a feature(2D polyline-no elevation) to close the 2D surface intersection. Think about 2D geometry not 3D polyline. Ex 2 triangle surfaces at 180 degrees with the same center like David Star has a hexagon(STOP sign) exterior intersection feature.
