OpenRoads Profile Curve Issue?

I am trying to get my proposed profile in for an alignment, but it seems to have some sort of rounding issue. The very last vertical curve that I want on my alignment is at Sta. 1020+75.00 with a curve length of 150'. I want the end of my profile to stop at Sta. 1021+50.00, aka the VPT. When I try to enter all that in as such, the tangent line of that vertical curve is showing as part of the vertical curve (as shown in attached image). If I shorten the length of the curve to 149', that tangent shows as i expect with the blue line. I checked the geometry report and I don't see any issues with it, but I wanted to make sure this tangent portion isn't going to create any issues.

This is why we need tools in Open Roads that work exactly like the Horizontal and Vertical Element tools of InRoads and they need to include 100% of those tools - Check Integrity, transpose, move up/back...

It looks like your 150' curve is a fillet between two elements, and the ahead element terminates at the same spot as your curve, so that when your curve clips the ahead element, it has nothing to clip.

As a solution, can you exclude that last element from your complex profile?

Alternatively, can you extend that ahead element just slightly so that the clip works properly?

I created via the "Profile Complex by VPI" tool and adjusted the curve lengths after the fact. I have tried to shorten the curve length by 0.0001', but that didn't do it either. Does the curve length need to be reduced, or does the adjacent tangent need to be lengthened by something more than 0.0001'?

If the last tangent is already 75 feet long, and thus the VPI is currently located at Sta. 1021+50 and that's not working, then chalk it up to bad software processing and write up a bug report. (I might do this someday, as I've seen some similarly strange things myself.)

As a workaround, I'd extend the last tangent to maybe 75.0001 feet or whatever, until it works. That's about all there is to it, I think.
