I noticed that in V8i, if I swithch from my xs file to my pattern line file and change the color of a pattern line, and also change my input file to only run xs on this one different colored pattern line, GEOPAK won't find the pattern line unless I exit and restart MS. Upon reopening MS this procedure works as expected. This seems to hold true for any changes to "in dgn" linework. That is GEOPAK won't find any new or changed "in dgn" linework until I exit and restart MS.

I just tried this here and it worked fine.
1. I opened the xs.dgn file
2. I then switched to the pattern dgn file and changed the color of 1 pattern line.
3. I then changed the input file to reflect the color of this one pattern.
4. I kicked off the input file from the pattern dgn file and it processed the 1 cross section.
Can you send me a dataset? This was a problem in 2004 but should have been fixed in XM and V8i.
