What might be happening is that because the bottom cell is a cylinder, with no thickness, the extrusion process does not find anything to extrude.

It would be worth modifying the bottom cell so that it has a wall thickness. One way to do that would be to create two solid cylinders, then subtract one from the other.

And the written guide in the SUE's help manual

It says the same thing about the construction class and line styles, but it won't work for me.
