I'm having an issue with one of my work stations, and seems to only happen on this particular workstation.
In Trying to create cross sections I am unable to access the preferences as it does not appear to read the .xin file.
This issue exists even if I use the examples workspace straight out of the box.
Process is:
From Corridor Modeling select
Create Cross sections icon (r2)
Select Alignment , create cross section icon displays,
Select preferences and no preferences show up, the preferences dialog is completely blank.
The workspace is pointing to Civil_Features_Imperial.xin
Again all other computer do not have this problem, either custom workspace or default from Bentley.
thanks for your help.

Sanders,
I am also having the issue that Francisco had - only one of our computers is NOT able to access the preferences.
I downloaded msxml4.dll and placed it in our Windows\System32 folder as well as in Windows\SysWOW64 folder. However, when trying to access preferences they still did not show. Am I placing these files in the correct location?
Any help or suggestions would much appreciated.
Thanks,
Jason
Jason, make sure that your Workspace Configuration is reading the template library, i.e. CIVIL_ROADWAY_TEMPLATE_LIBRARY=$(PWRGPK_PROJDATA)/data/template_library/Civil_Templates_$(Units).itl
as well as the CIVIL_XIN_FILE= . I only had to copy the file to the SysWOO64 folder.
good luck.
