We've been having a problem lately in which we get to a point where we can't add additional point controls. This seems to occur most often after superelevation has been assigned. New point controls can't be added, and existing point controls are more likely to become corrupted if they are edited. Has anybody else noticed such a problem?
We had a similar issue that ended up being a "circular dependency" issue with one of the existing point controls.
Keep an eye on the message centre and if it gives you a circular dependency (ie. loop detection) error, you will need to go through every point control to find the one causing your issues and remove it.
We had complex corridor with 40-50 point controls so it was very painful. For some reason the error didnt manifest itself till other point controls are added later on.
