Display an Microstation 3d object(smart solid, mesh etc.) in InRoads Ss2 in cross-section

Unfortunately, we do no currently have this functionality. Please see the link below for related defects, although these defects are for OpenRoads, I have tested in SELECTseries 2 also.

My question is if it is an application in InRoads Ss2 TO DISPLAY an 3D Object in cross-section. I understood that it is no solution for InRoads Ss2 or Power InRoads Ss4 to display an object 3D? No anything ? solid, smart solid, mesh etc.

Mishu, in InRoads SS2, in order to display something on a set of InRoads-created Cross Sections it needs to be put into the Surface / DTM, or created as a Surface.

the problem is we have vertical faces and the surface can not be create. Is it a way to do it like a manhole drainage? Actually It's only 2 parallelepipeds one on top the other or one parallelepiped and a cylinder.

Right, I knew the vertical faces were going to be the problem relative to creating actual surfaces from that data. And yes, you could probably reconstruct them in S&S but that would require rebuilding and locating all of them. Right now I don't see an easy solution. Do you need to display them as 'true' sections through the solids? Or can they be 'simulated' by a Cell projected to the Cross Sections? (Like Projected & Crossing Features)
