In Element Information, corridor elements show strange faux attributes and toggles when something is wrong. This might be for a multitude of reasons. In this latest case, my corridor broke because this corridor was referencing another file that had been renamed. When I updated the Microstation attachment to point to the correct file, it started behaving properly.
So add this to the list of reasons that a corridor might break, and a possible remedy.
Unfortunately, if it is broken because an element was deleted or broken, that'll be another story.
Enhancement request:
1. Give us a troubleshooting report that gives us the names and perhaps other, internal IDs for elements that the corridor is looking for.
2. At the designer's option, allow the corridor to be processed without reference elements that it can't find.
3. Related: Just as we can turn off point controls and parametric constraints, allow us to turn off certain element attachments.
I have a feeling #3 is already represented by a filed enhancement request.
