I do not know why that file cannot import - please log a service ticket with the Technical Support Group.

To get the alignments into MX, I did the following:
1. Use the OpenRoads tool "General Geometry > Import Geometry [W 1]" to get the geometry into a DGN
2. Set the feature tye for the alignments to one that matches an MX feature type - in my case 'Road Centrelines (Geometry)
3. Use the OpenRoads tool "General Geometry > Export to native [W 2]" to create the master and geometry strings in MX model.

RE: Exporting Horizontal Alignment from Civil 3d to MX road

communities.bentley.com/.../Drawing2.xmlsure.. i have attached the xml for the roads in question.

RE: Exporting Horizontal Alignment from Civil 3d to MX road

Are the spirals clothoids?
