Openroads crash on opening

Hi

I'm trying to have a look at the New open roads.

We have downloaded and installed Openroads on a few computers. It seems to work fine on most computers.

I keep an error when first opening via the .exe file and thus I can’t set up my workspace or work set and have no feature definitions.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no success. Do you perhaps know another way to set up the workspace or a solution to the crashing when opening? I had to uninstall the beta as it was a later version of the one I installed (10.00.00.120). It seemed to be crashing while trying to access ProjectWise.

Is anyone else experiencing similar problems? Or as a workaround knows how to set up the workspace other than from the initial screen when running the .exe?

  • Hi David,  We have seen similar reports from users running ProjectWise Explorer version V10.00.01.71, and the issue is resolved if they upgrade to ProjectWise Explorer version V10.00.02.203.  Can you give this a try and see if it resolves your issue as well?

    (Also note the original versions of the readme file said ProjectWise V10.00.00.20+ were compatible, but V10.00.02.203 was the version tested during certification)
