Dialog boxes showing up black or transparent

Hi,

I am working in Microstation V8i SS3 version 08.11.09.578 with Geopak V8i SS2 Version 08.11.07.615.  I have a recurring problem with the geopak dialog boxes opening and all of the text information around the working windows will display either all black or not at all and be see through. Sometimes when I hover the cursor over the text and buttons, it will display and other time it does not. This typically happens in the Roadway Designer dialog box and the Create Template dialog. Usually once this starts, the program will crash in the next little bit. 

Does anyone know what the cause is and how to fix it?
