Geopak ss4 xin in Projectwise?

I'm currently successfully using the "CIVIL_XIN_FILE" config to point to my xin file on a server. But, whenever I use this config to point to the xin file on Projectwise, the xin preferences are blank.

Does Geopak ss4 allow us to point to an xin file that resides in Projectwise Explorer?

The variable does not automatically load the features in your project explorer. You can place your xin in PW and right click your feature definitions to go link the survey definitions and select the xin from pw.

Nico,

I'm not trying to import the xin styles/symbologies as feature definitions. Instead I'm trying to use the preferences that are included in the xin. For example these preferences are used to determine how the settings used in the "create cross sections" tool are saved and used for later cross section processing. As far as I understand the "CIVIL_XIN_FILE" config is what determines where the preferences are saved. So, back to my original question, I can only seem to get this to point to the server. Do you know if it's also valid when pointing to an xin residing in projectwise explorer?

can you post your xin and the path you are using for the variable?
