Power Civil: Contour Labeling

Are there any tools out there for labeling contours? The labels applied by modeler or DTM tools are too random to be useful for plan production.

    I have a couple of requests:

    1. Can an option be included in Site or the DTM tools to place the labels on top of, instead of breaking, the contour lines?  This is helpful when trying to measure perimeter and areas of closed contours for detention pond modeling.
    2. Can the Civil Tools MDL be modified to work in 2D files?  Obviously, there would been to be some user input for elevation data.
