I have two problems which i believe are interrelated.
    1) I am importing a data from text file in x y z format (UTM in metres Norting easting and elevation). As i import all the data is imported and when i check the data each cordinate has been imported by dividing by 1000.I changed the units as you suggested from the design file/working units, still the problem remains.I import the data usually by multiplying each coordinate by 1000,so the data is properly imported

    2) While working i try and attach the autocad file on this data. The autocad working units have to be changed to centimeters for it to be properly imported imported. This leads me to conclusion that the working units of my dgn file must be centimetres.i change them to metres from settings>Design file to metres. Now i try to import the autocad file whose working units is metres. But it isnt imported properly.

Do seed files have to do something here?
