I would like to use other than default English abbreviations for horizontal cardinal points to annotate alignments: PC, POB, POE, PT, etc.
Depending on project location or client we need different abbreviations to be applied, eg: English, Polish, Swedish or different for Highway Agency and Local Roads Authority and completely different for airfield projects.
Can anyone advise me? In general I find these new way of annotating quite friendly but a little assistance is welcome.
Thanks.
Adam
Hi,
Any news on that?

FYI... this is filed with our development team as Enhancement Request #775405. As of today, it is currently not scheduled for a project.
thanks for info. That is a pain. My team delivers project to Clients in the USA, UK, Poland and Sweden. I guess even within a country there may be a need for different acronyms. Looks like a must have when providing spftware worldwide.
I wonder how this will be workarounded in Country Kits. I dont believe creating so many text favourites is a desired workflow. However at least there is a workaround... What about countires with non latain alphabet?
I came up with an idea for a macro to automatically find and replace texts but we would need to run macro every time annotations are updated. Will try text substitution with tbl file while printing.
