Geopak Drainage Referenced surface profile

Question

I have a drainage profile that spans across 2 surfaces. The nodes are referencing their respective surface as seen in the attached image (see highlighted elevations). The Surface profile is drawn at a total different elevation. I have created a surface profile using the DTM profile tool and it corresponds to the contour elevations created by the surface TIN.

GEOPAK Drainage can draw three surfaces (TIN files) into a Profile. The first two, Existing and Proposed, are specified in the Project Preferences. The third, Reference Surface, is specified in the Profile dialog under the Reference Surface section. Typically the surface or TIN file should cover the entire project area because the program simply drapes a linestring, based on the profile run, onto the surface and plots it in profile.
