I have problems with the static cross sections that are in the video. By testing, I came to this: 1) with larger width more mistakes come and they are more obvious, 2) the same place in the dynamic section is displayed correctly, 3) if the cross sections are created in a simple element (line), then they are correct unlike complex element (corridor geometry).
I'm doing something wrong, or can it be fixed ?
Hello,
I thought that from video you can recognize my problem, nevermind. From video you can see how with increasing wide of cross section are increasing errors too. Terrain is depicted by green color - in first set of cross section (time 0:19) are lower errors, where terrain isn´t drawn in all width of cross section. But second set of cross sections is absolutly wrong (time 0:29), where terrain is drawn several times over itself. In contrast with this is in the same place depicted dynamic cross section, which is drawn correctly (time 0:57). Static cross section in this place is drawn correct too, but cross section origin is in simple element (line), while section is drawn from complex element.pricne rezy Skalice.dgn files.

Is there any way to solve the problem?
Hi Petr,
I have not uncovered a way to solve this issue but I was able to finally reproduce it. Defect 734238 - Terrain overlaps itself in Cross Sections has ben filed with our Development group.
Thanks!

Problem is in the Czech version? Or how you reproduce this issue?
Petr,
Yes, the problem is Czech version 08.11.09.790. I tested in PowerCivil North America 08.11.09.788 (the Czech 08.11.09.790 equivalent) and it failed, same behavior you experienced. However, in the latest version of PowerCivil North America 08.11.09.877 the problem does not exist, these findings are noted in the Defect.

Good, but this make me crazy. After one year or more, someone finally tries to test the problem on the same version as the user. So a lot of answers to the various bugs I reported, where support cant reproduce the bug simply because you are testing it in the latest English version. Maybe Inroads is not a bad program, but without good support is totally useless.
