For a project delivery I am attempting to utilize OpenRoads Designer to export a model which has a model referenced in that was developed in Power Geopak SS4 with textures and material types defined. Obviouly, the materials and textures are not carrying over at all. So a workaround that I've been doing it copying in the old surface meshes and reassigning the materials that are those used in ORD. The issue I'm having is that not all of those same materials originally available in SS4 are available in ORD. My question is can those materials in SS4 be ported over in ORD when upgrading the feature definitions and symbolgies (I haven't done this conversion yet, but I am assuming that's an eventuality). Or do I really need to be working with regular 64 bit application of Microstation ?
Hi Chris,
Those features can be moved from SS4 to ORD. We have training videos on how to do that located here: . These would be mesh feature definitions. A good introductory video would be the Mesh Feature Definition and Symbology Properties video located within the OpenRoads Designer Workspace Setup - Understanding Feature Definitions learning path.
