Does anyone know if wildcards are possible in the ORD Annotation Filter for properties like Feature definition, Feature name, etc? It seems that each feature name or definition needs to be explicitly defined and not even feature definition groups, although selectable, are applied to the filter. I also have the same query for the Point list (to be filtered).
Looking at the operators, the star symbol is used as a multiplication operator.
Bentley Response 14/05/2021: Unfortunately the Enhancement "716010:[Annotation] Wildcards for ORD Annotation Filters" is still in the backlog and there is no timeline yet. I've added you as a requestor so you will be notified when this enhancement will be implemented in OpenRoads Designer.
I am also waiting for this feature. This is absolutely critical. I have a job that had more than once designer of the course of time standards were being updated and now we have many different feature names.
If there was a reasonably automatic way to rename features by search criteria within corridors and it's templates, that would also be a solution.
Hi Jared, to get around this we have set ourselves up the other way - we annotate all features and only add the ones we dont want to the filter using the NOT operator. This might make it a bit easier?
