Anyone know what the GEOMETRY SUBSTITUTE does in ORD?
I initially thought it was the same as GEOMETRY ELEMENT REPLACE, that swaps relationships of reference elements to another (which is still undocumented for some reason).
Still a work in progress... hasn't been tested or documented yet. Some users have asked for a way to substitute one element for another (i.e. assign an elements name and GUID) so they can replace references in civil cells, corridors, etc... and have all the rules associate to the new element. This looks like a first pass at that functionality for some future release.

Thanks Kevin, isn't that what GEOMETRY ELEMENT REPLACE does?

GEOMETRY ELEMENT REPLACE is the "Change Element Reference" command which allows you to pick a new reference for an element (no change to either the old or new reference element). The substitute command is different because it will completely change the new reference element by inheriting all the unique attributes of the old. I expect more information will come later when they test and document the command.
Thanks Kevin, that makes sense
