I am doing site grading and often have to run a linear template or corridor around a walkway that has sharp bends. There is a fair amount of inconsistency as to how the software develops its template solutions. Sometimes, it seem to trim up what would be "bow-tie" crossings and at other locations, they run the breaklines too far down one inside edge resulting in what can best be described as "nonsense" or as one of my old colleagues used to say "scram-gravy".
Is there any settings available to control how these tight corners are resolved. Currently, I am having to edit the resulting DTM of to attempt to manipulate the 3D mesh - both of which are fraught with the potential of being reconstituted back to the default results during subsequent sessions in the file.
I am having this problem.. Is there a solution?
Break up the segments of the sharp bends into separate corridor sections and use "corridor clipping" to trim those overlap areas. It would cause more processing to the design file, so use this option as little as possible.
