How to create custom Cells for Drainage nodes?

I am trying to update my drainage nodes to match PennDOT Roadway construction standards. Their type C inlets are Square among other things and i need to find a way to create custom Drainage nodes. Is this possible?

    Hi Mark,
    Thank you for your help. I have been busy with other things and have not had time to review this email. After reviewing the resources you provided,  I was unable to find the information I needed. It may help if I reword my question.
     
    1. When placing nodes in PowerInroads SUDA,  I have a limited selection of structures. For example Inlet C is provided with SUDA.

     

    1. What I need is to be able to create, from scratch, Inlets that are PennDOT standard. Like this one from their roadway construction manual. As well as inlet tops, grates and frames, among other types of structures. All of which need to be created according to PennDOT standard and none of which are similar to the nodes provided with SUDA.
     
     
    I have figured out how to create 3d Cells according to our standards but I cannot figure out how to bring them into the list of available Nodes to be used with SUDA tools, or make sure they are fully functional structures that can still be used with analysis and design. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.

    Alex,

    After you create the cells, you'll need to create element templates for the Top and bottom of the cell, then create a feature definition for the inlets. These go in you Civil dgnlibs. There is a good video on creating the utility cells (a Junction box exampl I think). I believe there is a way to add the hydraulic data as well, but I haven't gotten that far yet.
