I had to reinstall my Microstation and now there is some strange polar data select feature on that I can't get to go away and it is overriding my rectangular accudraw. Anyone know how to make the data select "normal"?
I don't believe that's a Microstation "thing". It appears that you are running Civil software over your Microstation. That looks to me like Civil Accudraw has been activated, while the accompanying settings dialogs aren't turned on. While I don't know much about Civil Accudraw, I do know that it doesn't coexist nicely with regular Accudraw.
What is the civil software you are running? It looks like a version of Geopak...If you go to the GeoPak/InRoads/etc. forum, there are people there more familiar with Civil Accudraw and may be able to help you.

The interface you have in your image, isn't MicroStation, as Mary states, it looks like Bentley Map or another.
I have never seen AccuDraw display the dashed lines. However, when you place the first data point press the space bar to toggle between Polar and rectangular modes. Ie a circle or square.
The heads up display is linked to he AccuDraw settings. If you select the menu Settings > AccuDraw. The AccuDraw settings dialog will open. Open the Display Tab and then turn OFF the Display Coordinates.

That is Civil Accudraw. Mary is correct, Civil Accudraw and regular Accudraw do not work together. You need to use one or the other. To turn off Civil Accudraw use the keyin "civilcoord quit". Then go to <Tools <Civil Accudraw <Civil Accudraw Setting and make sure Auto Load is unchecked.

Yes! I was trying to hit CTRL and ALT to toggle, but I forgot to try the spacebar. Thanks!
