Hi all, Please let me know Which is latest software, Mx road or In roads?
The most recent version of civil product lines is OpenRoads Designer 10.01.00.15, this is the successor to the legacy product lines - Geopak, Inroads and MX which were all last released 08.11.09.878 July 2016 (note - country variants are 878)
Regards
Ian

Hi,
Unknown said: i want to know that which software has been released first
I am confused a bit: In the subject, you asked "which is the latest software", but now you asked "what software has been released first".
For providing correct answer, can you please explain why you need this information?
MX and InRoads (and GEOPAK) are three completely independent civil design packages, developed originaly by different companies and later bought by Bentley.
GEOPAK was developed in USA and very popular here and was acquired by Bentley first. InRoads was developed by Intergraph for a long time (but I am not sure whether it's originally Intergraph application or not) and later again bought by Bentley. The latest acquisition was MX with a history well described in the article mentioned by Kugan.
These 3 products have not been merged, because regardless they all are civil design tool, they use different technology and different approach and also developed for different markets / countries. A unifying technology has become OpenRoads, developed by Bentley and added to the products in V8i generation.
So to ask what was release earlier / later maybe interesting information, but not very valuable, because it's like to discuss whether MicroStation or AutoCAD were released at specific date: It does not tell anything about value for a specific user and type of usage.
As Ian wrote, now there is only one civil product call OpenRoads Designer build on top of MicroStation CONNECT Edition platform. Former products (GEOPAK, InRoads and MX) were abandoned and will be not ported to CONNECT Edition.
With regards,
Jan
