It is really helpful that Drawing Production is automated and based on a "Live" dataset ... but the sprawling labyrinth of interconnected live design models, special view windows, and saved views need to be streamlined.
The user has to go on a Safari through an ecosystem of design models to perform simple tasks ... especially on large projects.
There should be an option for placing the printable profile, cross sections, named boundaries, and associated annotation in a single model just like we do in the SS2 environment.
In such a setup I can have my alignment, profile, and cross sections in one model. Edit the profile annotation then the grades, cross sections, and associated annotations update in real time ... then I hit print ... now that level of simplicity and productivity would get many motivated to use OpenRoads Designer.
Great idea - maybe a single model per corridor/alignment with all the section models automatically referenced into an array in order of chainage (as possible with old static OR sections)

MJM i think you are Wright, ORD plan producción model centered is a big headache, the workflow is very hard, most of roads software gets plan, profile and sections drawing more easier on a single drawing model and then the user can obtains the final sheets.
Im bit able to annotate the earthwork áreas, not pavement áreas on cross sections.
We need a easier plan production and annotate workflow
I totally agree that profile and cross section models should include annotation and be easier to print. Creating new drawing models for each change can become time consuming. Having an update cross section or profile command is one solution. Not sure why it is not included in ORD. This was an essential tool in SS2.
